Tuber Policy

All sales are final. Dahlia tubers are living plants, and they're dug, divided, and stored to order. We can't take returns or give refunds after purchase.

What we guarantee. Every tuber is healthy, viable, true to variety, and has at least one visible eye when it leaves the farm. We can't guarantee how it grows or blooms after that, because results depend on planting, storage, soil, weather, and care.

Bloom color and form. Dahlia color, size, and form change with weather, soil, and season, so your blooms may not match our photos exactly. That variation is normal and isn't a defect.

Labeling. Each variety is labeled. Once tubers leave the farm, keeping track of labels is up to you.

Fall pickup: Fall orders are ready for pickup in mid-to-late November. We'll email you as soon as your order is assembled. You'll then have 21 days from that email to pick it up. Orders not picked up within 21 days are forfeited, with no refund.

Spring pickup: Spring pickups open in March. You can schedule by emailing littlecomptonflowers@gmail.com with desired pickup date to come any time during March or April. Orders not picked up by April 30 are forfeited, with no refund.

Spring shipping. We ship when weather allows safe transit, and we may hold an order for a frost or heat wave. We aren't responsible for carrier delays or for packages left out after delivery. We ship within the continental U.S. only. You're responsible for knowing whether your state has rules on plant imports.

Problems on arrival. Check your tubers when you get them. If something's wrong, email us photos within [48 hours] of pickup or delivery. If we confirm the problem, we'll replace the tuber or give store credit, our choice. We can't help with claims made after that window.

Crop shortfalls and substitutions. Farming is unpredictable. If a variety comes up short, we'll offer a comparable substitute, store credit, or a refund for the tubers we can't supply.

By purchasing, you agree to this policy.
